foundation2.gifThe Montana Farm Bureau Foundation (MFBF) serves to facilitate funding for agriculture research, education and community support programs within the state of Montana. MFBF is a qualified charity under IRS tax code 501 (c) (3) making all donations tax deductible for our supporters. Through the support of our generous individual and corporate donors the Foundation has facilitated such community support programs as I Care a Ton, a project that provided emergency hay and forage for Montana producers struck by drought and forest fires.

MFBF continues to offer a variety of other programs throughout the state such as the annual Youth Speech Contest in November, Mini-Grant awards each March and the Young Farmer and Rancher (YF&R) Scholarship to the American Farm Bureau Federation national YF&R leadership conference in February. Many other programs and funding opportunities support groups such as Agriculture in Montana Schools, Montana 4-H, Montana FFA and the Montana State University College of Agriculture.
