Montana Farm Bureau Convention Coming to Billings in November
Bozeman, Montana—Mark your calendars and plan to join other farmers and ranchers in Billings, November 15-18, 2026, for the exciting 107th Montana Farm Bureau Annual Convention. This convention offers a variety of topics with top-notch speakers, compelling workshops, the chance for a young farmer or rancher to take home a Polaris and the venerable resolutions session.
The convention begins Sunday, November 15 with the ACE Leadership Class final seminar and the Convention and Trade Show Kick-Off Social.
Monday offers a packed schedule featuring two national keynote speakers. Roxi Beck, Center for Food Integrity (CFI), will talk about building trust in today’s food & agriculture conversations while the U.S. Department of the Interior’s Karen Budd-Falen tackled the tough subject of policy on federal lands.
Workshops offer a variety of cutting-edge topics including grizzly bears and access, the state of trade and tariffs on agriculture, virtual fencing options for livestock, a real look at data centers, checkoffs and food as medicine.
Young farmers and ranchers will have the opportunity to participate in the YF&R Discussion Meet with the winner taking home a Polaris Ranger, thanks to the generosity of Montana Polaris dealers, and a trip to compete at the national level in Charlotte, North Carolina in January, 2027. In addition, the Collegiate Young Farmers & Ranchers will hold their Discussion Meet with the winner heading to New Orleans in March, 2027, to compete in the national competition. This competitive, committee-style event challenges participants to exchange ideas and develop solutions on a pre-determined agricultural topic.
Tuesday marks the beginning of the crucial MFBF Voting Delegates Session. This is where the true grassroots process takes center stage, as members discuss, debate, and vote on resolutions that will become the organization’s official policy for the upcoming year.
Social events include Monday evening’s Member Celebration Dinner with a social, meal and dancing to Tanglewood at the Pub Station, a unique venue for music and entertainment.
