Voting
Delegation
Montana Farm Bureau Voting Delegates convene each year at our Annual Convention in the fall. They come together to discuss policy and vote on how our organization advocates for farmers and ranchers on local, state, and national-level issues. If you would like more information on serving as a voting delegate, please contact your area's regional manager.
Your Purpose
Voting delegate: A voting member, put forth by membership at the County Annual meeting, to serve their county in making grassroots decisions on policy and recommendations.

Alternate delegate: A voting member, also put forth by their respective county, to serve as a replacement voting delegate if the delegates seated on the floor so choose.
The true meaning of 'grassroots'...
Farm Bureau's policy development process is pivotal to our organization's efficacy and credibility. By serving as a voting delegate, you participate firsthand in this process as a representative of your county Farm Bureau and the issues they face. In doing so, you propel these issues to the forefront of our advocacy in Helena and Washington, D.C., making a major difference for Montana agriculture.
