BOZEMAN, Mont. - The Montana Farm Bureau Federation (MFBF) is pleased to announce the addition of Logan Kruse as its new Director of Communications.

Joining MFBF from Elliston, Montana, Kruse brings an established passion for the agriculture industry, its people, and strategic messaging to the state’s largest agricultural organization. In his new role, Kruse will help guide MFBF’s media relations, communication strategy, member outreach, and advocacy messaging to elevate the voices of Montana’s farmers and ranchers.

Kruse earned his degree in Marketing from Montana State University-Bozeman. Prior to joining the Montana Farm Bureau team, he served as the Communications Officer for the Montana Department of Agriculture, where he managed the agency’s communications strategy, public outreach, media engagement, and state-wide agricultural initiatives. Kruse also served on the Lewis & Clark County Farm Bureau Board and graduated from MFBF’s ACE Leadership Program in 2024. His diverse background in digital marketing, communications management, and agriculture equips him with both technical expertise and firsthand understanding of the agricultural community. Additionally, Kruse and his wife run a small cow/calf operation where they live just south of Elliston, MT.

"We are excited to welcome Logan Kruse to our staff," said Scott Kulbeck, MFBF Executive Vice President. "Logan’s strong Farm Bureau background, coupled with his proven track record in agricultural communications and advocacy, makes him a great fit to an already strong team.”

Kruse will be based out of the state organization's network, working closely with local county Farm Bureaus, industry partners, and media outlets.

Founded in 1919, the Montana Farm Bureau Federation is a grassroots organization leading Montana agriculture toward a future with a prosperous ag economy and thriving rural communities.
