BILLINGS, Mont. - The countdown is on for the 107th Montana Farm Bureau Annual Convention. Members from across the state are encouraged to register now to join fellow agricultural leaders in Billings, November 15-18, 2026.

Attendees will gain insights into the issues shaping today's agricultural landscape, from market trends and trade developments to technology, natural resource management, and public perception of agriculture. The convention agenda is constructed to provide hands on information producers can take home and put into practice in their operations.

Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from Roxi Beck of the Center for Food Integrity, a nationally recognized expert on consumer trust and food system communications. Beck will discuss how farmers and ranchers can effectively engage with consumers and build confidence in modern agriculture at a time when misinformation and public scrutiny continue to increase.

Convention participants will also hear from Karen Budd-Falen of the U.S. Department of the Interior, who will provide insight into federal lands policies and regulatory issues affecting ranchers and agricultural producers across the West. Her presentation will focus on the challenges and opportunities surrounding public lands management and its impact on rural communities.

In addition to keynote presentations, convention attendees can choose from a variety of sessions covering some of today's most talked-about agricultural issues, including:

  • Grizzly bear management and access concerns

  • Agricultural trade and tariff developments

  • Virtual fencing technology and livestock management innovations

  • The growth of data centers and their implications for Montana communities

  • Commodity checkoff programs

  • The emerging role of food as medicine and its connection to agriculture

Convention is also where Montana Farm Bureau's member-driven policy process takes center stage. Voting delegates from county Farm Bureaus across Montana will review, discuss, and adopt policy that directs the organization’s advocacy efforts for the coming year, ensuring members' voices remain at the forefront of issues affecting agriculture.

Lastly, social festivities to look forward to includes Monday evening’s Member Celebration Dinner that will bring attendees together for an evening of networking, great food, and some live music by Tanglewood at The Pub Station.
